What is Google Search Console?
Google Search Console is Google's free tool that shows you which keywords you are found on and which pages have issues.
For each keyword and page, you see how often you appear, how often people click, and your average position.
It also flags technical issues: pages that aren't indexed, speed problems, and errors in your markup.

Why it matters
This is the only source with real Google data about your site. All other tools estimate.
It is also your early warning system: after a migration or an update, this is the first place you will see if something goes wrong.
