How much does it cost to have a website built?

My websites start from € 1.250, or € 2.500 with a custom design. An online shop also starts at € 1.250, with bespoke builds from € 6.500. Fixed price, agreed upfront.

Having a website built at Websucces Marketing starts from € 1.250 for a compact site and € 2.500 for a business website of up to ten pages with a custom design. An online store starts at € 1.250, a full shop at € 2.500, and bespoke solutions from € 6.500. These are fixed prices: no unexpected costs, no surprises afterwards.

In the Netherlands, you can easily pay anywhere between € 1.500 and € 15.000 for a website. That difference is rarely in the visual design, but in what lies beneath: the technical setup, speed, search visibility, and whether the site is built to generate enquiries.

What determines the price?

    Number of pages and features

    Ten pages with a contact form is a very different project to a hundred pages with filters, user logins and integrations.

  • 02

    Online shop or not

    Products, variants, payments, shipping and returns make an online shop technically much more complex than a standard website.

  • 03

    Copy and imagery

    If you have your copy and photos ready, things move faster. If I need to create them, I'll quote for that upfront.

  • 04

    Integrations

    Accounting, inventory, CRM, booking systems: every integration is development work that I scope upfront.

Why a cheap website ends up costing more

A website costing a few hundred euros is usually an off-the-shelf theme with generic copy. It is slower, harder to find online, and not designed to turn visitors into enquiries. A year down the line, a complete overhaul is needed anyway.

I build in search visibility and conversion right from the start. That's why my clients usually continue straight on with SEO after launch: the foundation is already there, and the focus shifts to growing rather than fixing.

How much does a website cost per month?

I charge a one-off fee, not a monthly charge for the build. Afterwards, you only pay for hosting and any optional maintenance.

Do I own the website?

Yes. Domain, hosting, and the website remain your property. You are never dependent on me to access anything.

Can I update copy myself?

Yes. You will receive an explanation and a short guide so you can update pages, copy and photos yourself.

Do you also offer design only?

I can, but I advise against it. Design without solid tech and search visibility simply results in a beautiful site that no one ever finds.
