It is a short text of around 150 characters that you set for each page. Google can use it or choose its own snippet from your page.

A good description provides the answer, a concrete fact (price, timeframe, location) and a reason to click.

Why it matters

The same ranking with a better description brings in more visitors, without extra work on technical aspects or links.

It also prevents false expectations: people who know exactly what they are getting are less likely to drop off.

How we approach it

We write a unique title and description for each page and keep them under the limit where Google cuts them off.

For pages with high impressions and few clicks, we rewrite them strategically.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does every page need its own description?

Yes. Duplicate descriptions are a missed opportunity and a sign of a thin structure.

Why does Google show something different?

Google sometimes chooses a snippet that better matches the search query. That is completely normal and not an error.
